As explained, J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre offers a lot of its services to patients hailing from low-income families. Such patients are accomodated in our general wards, leaving our private wards free for "paying" category patients. But sadly, our catchment area does not yield sufficient paying cases, which makes it hard to recover our operational expenses.
Hence, we propose yet another way in which you could support our endeavours. If you or anyone you know needs elective (as opposed to emergency) surgery that we offer, please consider availing of our services. We understand that we are located a little way out (is that an understatement?!), and this may be held against us. But our surgeons have put together a list of elective surgeries in the disciplines of general surgery, ophthalmology and orthopaedics that we offer on a regular basis to out-station patients. The healing, no-stress environment we offer, coupled with our lower charges, will go a long way in helping you or your loved ones recover from these illnesses.
