In 1991, J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre was established as a hospital that would fill a lacunae in health services in district Sirohi, in southwest Rajasthan. This implied that the hospital kept its doors open for persons of all castes and creeds, irrespective of gender and age, for treatment on an out-patient or indoor basis as required. This is a promise that Global Hospital has never faltered in, even though it has meant that the base unit incurs substantial operational losses on account on the "free" services it renders.

While our offshoots that have developed over the years at Abu Road follow a similar policy, they are fortunately patronised by a greater number of middle class patients who can afford the treatment charges. Hence, their losses are more easily made up by donor contributions.

This site aims to detail opportunities for you to contribute towards the cost of the "free" services offered by J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre, Mount Abu. For your convenience, we have categorized these into child health services, adult health services, and requests for contributions to infrastructure upgradations.

We work closely with all our partners of our community projects (see our parent website http://www.ghrc-abu.com for a list) for which reason most of them look to establish continuing relationships with us, successfully sponsoring community endeavours. On the same lines, we assure you - a contributor of however nominal an amount - of a detailed response exactly describing who benefited from your donation.
